A través de la articulación entre estudios sobre los medios, la Teoría Queer y teorizaciones de Deleuze y Guattari acerca de la subjetividad se observa que hubo una apropiación empoderadora de la red social por parte de los sujetos no binarios, que pudieron manifestar a través de Internet su generación rizomática de subjetividad y singularización, así como de subversiones, en el ámbito de la performatividad, que provocan tensiones en los patrones sociales definidores de la relación lineal entre sexo, género y deseo.Neste artigo investigam-se os processos de criação de subjetividade, singularização e subversão engendrados quando da utilização, por parte de pessoas autodeclaradas não-binárias, da hashtag #whatgenderqueerlookslike no Twitter.
