Description
Summary:The article is part of an empirical research about practices and meanings of the body in urban youth belonging to middle socioeconomic groups, residents in the Chilean cities of Santiago and Concepción, covering the years 2016 and 2017. The methodology corresponds to a cyberetnography; and the main findings discuss the tensions imposed by a new morality of aesthetic purity in social networks, identifying styles of corporal normalization and vanishing lines for the current juvenile worlds.
