Its “open audiovisual works” are developing processes of social integration with communities and disadvantaged groups.En los últimos años viene produciéndose una cierta tendencia hacia el empleo de la tecnología audiovisual por parte de colectivos activistas: con un objetivo transformador de realidades, las prácticas de activismo audiovisual se han enfocado a propiciar el empoderamiento de colectivos sociales como generadores de universos simbólicos propios. El texto reflexiona sobre el audiovisual como integración social desde un enfoque generalista y atendiendo a sus precedentes. En primer lugar, se comienza una exploración teórica sobre el concepto de activismo audiovisual y sus posibilidades educativas, activistas y para la integración social; en segundo lugar, se aborda un análisis en torno al trabajo del colectivo Cine sin Autor (CsA) que, con una metodología participativa, construye “procesos audiovisuales abiertos” con comunidades y colectivos desfavorecidos.Nos últimos anos, tem produzido uma tendência para o uso da tecnologia audiovisual por grupos sociais e comunitários: um objetivo transformador da realidade social, estes têm-se centrado na promoção do processo de empoderamento como um gerador de significado e próprios universos simbólicos. O texto reflete sobre a integração audiovisual e social a partir de uma abordagem generalista e de acordo com seus precedentes.
