En primer lugar, se recuperan los elementos importantes de los estudios sobre el testimonio mediático. Luego, se revisan las nociones de historicidad y figura con el fin de articularlas a las de testimonio mediático. Por último, observamos algunas relaciones importantes presentes en los usos del término testimonio para aprehender, al menos en parte, sus implicaciones como operador heurístico de los estudios comunicacionales.Este artigo explora a noção de testemunho midiático como uma figura de historicidade, em três movimentos reflexivos complementares. Primeiro, recuperam- se elementos importantes dos estudos acerca do testemunho midiático. A seguir, as noções de historicidade e de figura são revistas, de modo a articulá-las ao testemunho midiático.
