Context: after granted the degree of Physics Therapy, seventh and eighth semester students carry out a research project that is supported in a teacher’s court. Assess, both the quality and scientific validity of these works is a challenge for the faculty. Objective: assess the scientific quality of the degree work carried out by those who graduate from the Physical Therapy carrier of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Universidad Central del Ecuador. Methods: documentary analysis of the degree work of the Physical Therapy Career, corresponding to the 2010-2014 five-year period. Results: the titling works have an adequate scientific quality, with slight deficiencies in the clarity of the problem formulation and the methodology presented to respond to the research objectives. Conclusions: theses analyzed meet the required methodological requirements for a professional degree work.
