Information and data were collected first of a survey and,  after this, a quasi-experimental design in which two groups —one control and the other experimental—  worked with controlled scenarios; through the research process it has been found that motivational and selfhelp discourse is mainly a product and, as such, enters into the dynamics of a commodified society where  everything has a price
