Yhteenveto:Scientific knowledge in general and that of the social-historical sciences in particular is fatally determined by the laws of the market, not only by its articulation with the great industry, but above all because its form of production is the same as that of commercial production. Taking on this premise, this text proposes the following thesis: the production of knowledge in the social-historical sciences is traversed by the same contradictions and limits inherent to the functioning of the capitalist economy.
