| description | Hay una preocupación central en el pensamiento de Bolívar Echeverría: leer desde la teoría marxista, la modernidad capitalista, para escudriñarla teóricamente. En este afán, es central su lectura sobre la historia con inclinación marxista. Echeverría utiliza dos corrientes históricas que le permiten reflexionar sobre la modernidad capitalista: la historia de los vencidos postulada por Walter Benjamin y la microhistoria que la postula la escuela italiana. La microhistoria y sus estrategias epistemológicas y metodológicas permiten mirar las grietas de los grandes bloques históricos para, desde ahí, criticar y ponerlos en cuestión. En este sentido, la catástrofe que mira el Angelus Novus en la historia se convierta en posibilidad de transformación, y para esto son centrales los vestigios y huellas como indicios que permiten repensar la historia. |
