إضافة وسم | الملخص: | The use of cryptocurrencies in Ecuador in recent times has been boosted promising a series of benefits to the community, in view of the increase in risks have multiplied causing representative losses due to lack of knowledge in investment strategies. The present research aims to analyze the benefits and risks of the use of cryptocurrencies in the city of Guayaquil; through a mixed methodology, non-probabilistic, with analytical approach, which includes relevant bibliographic information, expert interviews and quantitative data. Among the main results, 79.33% of the study sample indicated bitcoin as the best cryptocurrency to invest in the Ecuadorian market; in this sense, 50% highlighted knowing the strategies and benefits provided by its use; likewise, 50% indicated that the greatest advantage of using cryptocurrencies are immediate transactions, and 43.33% considered that the greatest risk are scams and distrust during use. In conclusion, the use of cryptocurrencies offers a great number of opportunities and benefits; therefore, the population chooses to investigate and consider tips that provide security against the possibility of being scammed. |
