| 要約: | The objective of this paper is to provide an additional view of the initial conditions prevailing in the Lorenz's Curve. As noted in the economic literature, the initial conditions of the income distribution have strong effects in the process of development of an economy. Here, a caienary approach is used to understand, in an exploratory research, the initial structure of the distribution of income, in this specific case Of the Lorenz's Curve. While there are some deficiency in the fit of this curve through the catenary functional form, the intuition suggested from these approach allows to explain why similar ratios (as the proportion of poor respect to the proportion of rich people) would drive different growth paths and thercby different equilibrium. |
