The study emphasizes the importance of the IOM as a tool for promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Ecuador. |

Se analizan los encadenamientos productivos hacia adelante y hacia atrás, clasificando las actividades en sectores clave, motores, base e isla según los coeficientes de Rasmussen. Los resultados identifican que la agricultura, manufactura, comercio y transporte son los sectores con mayores encadenamientos, destacándose como motores de crecimiento y proveedores de insumos. Además, se observan tendencias como la disminución en sectores como la elaboración de pro-ductos de molinería y el crecimiento en la elaboración de azúcar. Estos hallazgos proveen insumos clave para el diseño de políticas públicas orientadas a la reactivación económica, priorizando aquellos sectores con mayor capacidad de dinamización económica y promoviendo la diversificación productiva. El estudio subraya la importancia de la MIP como herramienta para impulsar un crecimiento económico sostenible e inclusivo en Ecuador.
