On the economic issue, we can mention another quality of the guadua cane, since in the constructions with this material the use of iron decreases and as a consequence the decrease in the import of it, preventing the exit of Ecuadorian resources abroad; On the other hand, dependence on the national market is limited due to the instability of the price of iron, whose supply constitutes a monopoly on the international market. The stoppage of many works is also prevented, since they are dependent on this input and suffer delays, having to face additional elbows that are assumed in the final price. |

En el tema económico podemos mencionar otra cualidad de la caña guadua, puesto que en las construcciones con este material disminuye la utilización del hierro y como consecuencia la disminución en la importación de éste previniendo la salida de recursos ecuatorianos hacia el extranjero; Por otro lado, se limita la dependencia del mercado nacional ante la inestabilidad del precio del hierro, cuya oferta constituye un monopolio en el mercado internacional.
