| Тойм: | The decrease in the sources that provide timber inEcuador, such as natural forests, is being reducedand with this it is necessary to find new and innovativealternatives for the management of forestry of forestspecies. Agroforestry technologies offer sustainableproduction of goods and services among these woodproducts. The objective of this research was to studythe behavior of the forest species Alnus nepalensis,Schizolobium parahyba, Swietenia macrophylla andCordia alliodora in association with three perennialfruit species: Citrus lemon, Citrus aurantifoliaand Annona muricata, under an agrosilviculturalarrangement. The study was conducted in the SantaMarianita community of Caliche, Mira canton, provinceof Carchi. The experimental design used was blockswith three repetitions, the trial was established in rowsinterspersed between forest and fruit species; Monthlyevaluations of the variables were performed: survival, height, basal diameter and the annual current increase(ICA) was determined. The information was analyzedusing descriptive statistics, Student’s t-test, frequencies, regression and correlation. The variables analyzed areconsidered mostly homogeneous with a tendency tonormal distribution; the coefficients r and r2 allow toinfer that the species have a proportional growth. Insurvival, growth in height, basal diameter and annualcurrent increase A. nepalensis presents the best results; From the Student’s t-test it was determined that thebehavior of the four forest species is statistically verydifferent, however there are differences in the growthrates it is evident that the four forest species have alinear growth trend. |
