Resumo:This study investigates the relationship between the presence of foreign capital in Ecuadorian companies and their decision to export, with the aim of understanding how foreign investment impacts business internationalization. Based on data from the Business Structural Survey (ENESEM), a logit model is used to analyze this relationship, revealing a positive impact of foreign capital on the probability that a company participates in export activities. The findings seek to contribute to the understanding of the importance of foreign capital in the expansion and export process of companies, offering new perspectives for business decision-making and economic policies.
