Description
Résumé:Introduction: Preeclampsia is a complication of pregnancy that continues to be a problem of great concern for the health system, standing out as one of the main causes of maternal-fetal mortality worldwide. Objective: To synthesize the risk factors associated with preeclampsia in women aged 18 to 45 years. Methodology: The review protocol was constructed according to the PRISMA ScR guidelines and the JBI manuals. The information search was performed in: Dialnet, Scielo, LILACS, BMC and PubMed; from the use of descriptors and the Boolean AND computer. Results: 496 articles were identified, of which 8 articles were finally obtained, showing that the main risk factors associated with the development of preeclampsia are: age over 35 years, nulliparity, obesity, personal and family history of preeclampsia, multiple pregnancy, chronic hypertension. Conclusion: the available scientific evidence shows that preeclampsia is a multifactorial health problem and that the mother's own conditions are strongly related to the appearance of this problem.
