Shrnutí:This article proposes an approach to the experiences of beginning in the productive life of young people from horticultural families of the green belt of the General Pueyrredón district, through the concepts of social phenomenology. It seeks to contribute to the understanding of socially and historically situated youth itineraries, focusing on the way in which they value and give meaning to their beginnings in productive life. Interviews of young people carried out between 2017 and 2019 who sought to reconstruct their life stories are analyzed. As main results, it is evidenced that even having beginnings in similar activities (such as horticulture), young people understand them in different ways, sedimenting them through help or work, bringing up different dimensions in their stories.
