Crynodeb: | This study was conducted in three palm oil extractor in the provinces of Pichincha, Santo Domingo and Esmeraldas, the purpose was to analyze the polluting products removal efficiency of wastewater treatment systems. In the evaluation, sampling points were established in each system and three measurements were performed by analyzing the next parameters: oil and grease, DQO, DBO5, Total Suspended Solids, Total Solids and Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN). The following removal efficiencies was obtained, extractor 1: oil and grease 99,16%, DBO5 94,71%, DQO 94,14%, SST 92,99%, ST 82,80%, NTK -944.44%; Extractor 2: DBO5, 99,45%, DQO 99,42%, SST 96,22%, ST 93,10% y NTK 75,55%; Extractor 3: oil and grease 99,91%, DBO5 94,71%, DQO 94,14%, SST 92,99%, ST 82,80%, NTK -944.44%. The systems have high efficiency with respect to those presented in literature sources, but the effluent doesn´t meet current environmental regulations. |
