Asimismo, con referencia a la Opinión Consultiva OC-24/17 de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, el derecho a la identidad de género comparte con este derecho fundamental una serie de principios y garantías que desde el ámbito constitucional fortalecen el respeto de la igualdad y no discriminación.
