Ecuador en el laberinto del capital: Neoliberalismo o populismo ¿sin contra-hegemonía estratégica?

This work presents an overview of the situation in Ecuador from a critical perspective that provides context and historical-structural meaning. From there, it analyzes some of the fundamental axes: the international situation, the government and the political-social situation, the Police and femicides, the drug business. Faced with partial, segmented or decontextualized visions, a holistic and comprehensive approach is necessary, supported by an epistemology that makes it possible. With this effort, a perspective is built that inserts the present in history and the fundamental elements of that present within the structure that they constitute and in which they acquire meaning. Only with this effort does the density of reality in its complex interrelationships and concatenations become comprehensible, and the need for structural transformations to build a different future becomes evident.
