| Summary: | This paper aims to focus, in a very preliminary manner, on some lines of interpretation regarding public security, based on official data and theoretical references within the framework of what some authors have aptly termed "the era of disorder." Firstly, it argues that theorizing about forms of global order management, their actors, and whether these roles continue to be practiced is necessary. Secondly, it discusses the delineation of social and institutional boundaries, as well as their operational and scope dimensions, observing the emergence of structures related to politics and finance. Finally, it suggests the need to consider certain societal processes, such as violence, as part of a continuum or flows of power related to control, disorder, and protest, including their narratives. |
