Finally, the paradoxical relation between the authority and the leadership of President Rafael Correa and the deterioration of the institutionalism of the country are analyzed. |

En el texto se repasan tanto las coincidencias como las diferencias en relación a tres golpes de Estado previos (Bucaram, 1997; Mahuad, 2000; Gutiérrez, 2005); destacando en el del 30-S tres elementos que se analizan: reivindicaciones de base corporativa, una sublevación armada sincronizada en todo el país y acciones dirigidas a desestabilizar el régimen democrático.
