With a substitution of 25%, a resistance to compression of 244.97 kg/cm2 was achieved, increasing the substitution percentage by 50%, 75%, and 100%, it showed a decrease in resistance (220 kg/cm2) in comparison to the 25% of substitution. It was concluded that the tests performed, revealed relevant results, allowing us to determine that recycled material from construction waste might be considered for manufacturing new concrete. However, the features of this material must be previously evaluated. |

En esta investigación se llevó a cabo el análisis de la resistencia a la compresión del hormigón tradicional, comparado con la resistencia de hormigones preparados mediante materiales reciclados de la construcción; en su mayoría hormigones provenientes de derrocamientos, residuos de veredas y bordillos; para lo cual se utilizaron dosificaciones sustituyendo al agregado grueso en porcentajes de 25 %, 50 %, 75 % y 100 %. Con la sustitución del 25 % se obtuvo una resistencia a la compresión de 244,97 kg/cm2, al aumentar el porcentaje de sustitución en 50 %, 75 %, y 100 %, se observó una disminución en la resistencia (220 kg/cm2) en comparación con la de 25 %. Se concluyó, que los ensayos realizados demostraron resultados satisfactorios, lo cual nos permite evidenciar que el material reciclado proveniente de derrocamientos estructurales si puede ser considerado para la fabricación de nuevos hormigones.
