Achoimre: | Finding new means that allow the generation of environmentally friendly energy is a constant problem of modern societies. For this research, solar panels are used as a resource to produce energy, complementing them with a system that allows control for their proper orientation and thus captures the sun's rays efficiently. The objective is to develop a control system that allows improving the collection of solar energy and, therefore, energy production. To do this, the proposed control system is described for the appropriate location of the solar panel, determining the components with their characteristics that allow evaluating the performance of the system. A control system was developed for the use of solar energy through a structure that will follow the position of the sun at certain times of the day, depending on its light intensity; In addition, its characteristics and components were determined. In conclusion, a system is defined for tracking a single axis, which allows obtaining a higher efficiency of 12% to 23% compared to fixed positioning systems. |
