Description
Summary:This study analyzes innovative and effective educational practices to improve the teaching-learning process. For this purpose, a qualitative approach is used as a methodology, according to the use of the descriptive research design. A bibliographic review of books, scientific articles and documents related to the experiences on innovative educational practices in countries such as Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Ecuador, and Argentina, has been considered.  There is a variety of literature regarding innovative educational practices, which shows the interest in contributing to improving the educational system, mainly supported using technology, but anchored to didactics as a complementary resource. In addition, the proposals focused their contribution on different branches of knowledge such as mathematics and English, but also to reduce social problems such as illiteracy with the use of innovative programs focused on collaborative work and personalized work in the teaching-learning process. It is concluded, in this way, that the effectiveness of educational practices is given on the basis of promoting an innovative digital culture with trained teachers in technological skills, and also based on the need for a structural change focused on innovation within an educational system.
