總結:Introduction: this article analyzes the political-institutional productivity of environmental conflicts on the dynamics of subnational party systems in Argentina through two case studies: social resistance to the installation of a nuclear power plant in Río Negro (2017-2019); and social resistance to mining zoning in Chubut (2019-2021). Objective: to investigate the partisan and electoral dimension of environmental conflicts underestimated by both political and sociological literature. This would contribute to a comprehensive agenda for the study of environmental policies in the region to produce environmental protection and stimulate innovations in environmental governance. Methodology: it proposes a situated, interdisciplinary, and pragmatist theoretical-methodological approach to cases. This approach focused on the coordination of the structure of party and electoral competition, segmented territorially, and the strategies of the actors. Conclusions: it argues that the multi-scale dimension in this complex process must be made explicit and, at the same time, consider the environmentalized characteristics of the structure of social conflict and its impact on partisan and electoral dynamics. Therefore, proposed strategy contemplates the scalar analysis of the political-institutional effects of environmental conflict for the construction of the cases.
