Towards new scenarios in Education: 2nd International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Education

This editorial presents the agenda and results of the 2nd International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Education, held at the Simón Bolívar Andean University, Ecuador, entitled Towards new scenarios in Education. The congress was articulated around magisterial conferences, workshops and eight round tables on (1) Educational technology, (2) Curricular and didactic innovation, (3) Innovative methodologies and learning environments, (4) Teacher training and professional teacher development, (5) Philosophy, society and Education, (6) Intercultural and Inclusive Education, (7) Non-formal, continuous and professional Education, and (8) Innovative perspectives on language teaching. Eleven master lectures by colleagues from nine national and international universities and seven workshops were held, and 34 papers were presented.
