Shrnutí:The contribution presented under the trial modality, part of the results obtained in the research project whose topic focused on analyzing the relationship between the pedagogical care performed by teachers and the academic performance of students in the unified general high school sub-level. From the input of the theory, it is necessary that pedagogical attention has three essential aspects; didactic, cultural and socio-educational. The objective of this essay is to reflect on pedagogical care and its relationship to the academic performance of high school students, as well as to present a pedagogical strategy that can contribute to the improvement of teachers' performance, in achieving learning in their students. The pedagogical strategy contains actions aimed at these three characteristics of pedagogical care, so that the preparation of teachers can improve the academic performance of students in the educational unit. The work assesses the benefits of strategy in the teaching, methodological and practical order by incentive teachers to change the traditionalist models of pedagogical action, using models that allow young people to get their attention, motivate them and instill the practicality of what they have learned in the class room. educational and cultural level its benefits are in establishing relationships in the educational community, encouraging the inclusion of all members of the community and society.
