Ամփոփում:The university has the opportunity to promote and strengthen the critical, inclusive and respectful use of Artificial Intelligence, for the benefit of the whole society. The main objective of the research was to determine the main educational challenges in higher education to integrate Artificial Intelligence in different digital literacy in the city of Tarija – Bolivia. The research was developed through opinion surveys and academic documentary review. The main findings indicate the majority heard about Artficial Intelligence, whit a higher proportion of the male population. However, only 30% are well informed, especially young people. 15% say they are anxious about using it, in contrast to 18% who are worried and fear it, especially if it could affect their work activity. Regarding family communication, 23% believe that communication in the home will be positively affected, while 28% believe that is effect will be negative; this perception is higher in those over 51 years of age and women. The sector perceived to be affected by AI are employment, education and entertainment. The most commonly used IA is Chat GPT, while young men are more predisposed to use it. In conclusion, four challenges were identified that demand attention: The implementation of digital literacy programs in higher education institutions, reducing the digital divide, promoting the ethical use of IA and its respective regulation.
