| Resumo: | From the gender perspective, this article proposes a theoretical and methodological approach to Critical Discourse Analysis applied to the political and subaltern discourses contemplated as communication and social interaction practices. Considering the centrality of the communication and discourse by itself; the analyzed corpus includes the Government Plans of the political parties that participated in the2017 election campaign in Ecuador, and other alternative discourses that propose a variety of activism in their own forms of communication. In conclusion, this inquiry shows the limits of liberal-type democracy in their discourses, the use of antagonistic discursive resources and the dimensions of power as an attribute of gender in texts. |
