| Sumari: | Dental conditions such as caries, fissures, and fractures compromise both oral health and aesthetics, requiring restorations with additive materials. These conditions not only affect dental functionality but also significantly impact smile appearance. Dental restoration aims to correct structural imperfections and provide durable, aesthetically pleasing solutions, improving the patient's quality of life. This study aims to describe the advantages of Class II high-load resin inlay in a patient treated between March and October 2023 at the San Gregorio University of Portoviejo (USGP) clinical facility. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, employing inductive-deductive, historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, observational, document review, and statistical-mathematical methods. A unique case of a female patient who sought replacement of a previously placed resin due to extensive caries with mesial occlusion is presented. Following dental examination, Bulk Fill (Z350) was applied using the indirect inlay technique. This clinical case report highlights the efficacy of high-load resin restorations in treating deep caries, offering a solution that combines durability and aesthetics. The use of advanced techniques and materials in restorative dentistry demonstrates their potential to significantly improve oral health and patient satisfaction. |
