Riassunto:The teaching research related to the development of research projects is presented from the experience of more than seven years methodological work with students from different courses of Latin American institutions. Science education through the generation of scientific expertise can collaborate heavily in the development of a comprehensive undergraduate. In both international and national levels promotes the use of scientific inquiry as an effective pedagogical approach in developing these skills, especially under conditions of high vulnerability. The results of projects in Cuba with major institutions such as the Office of the Historian of Havana, projects cities in westem Cuba, Ecuador and Mexico, demonstrate the validity of the procedure for linking students with community problems, from an extensional view.
