No obstante, esa búsqueda usualmente se sustenta en aspiraciones netamente materiales, tales como: dinero, bienes, títulos académicos o de nobleza, lo cual distorsiona el verdadero sentido de lo que es alcanzar el éxito que debe apalancarse, más que nada, en aspectos intangibles que harán que el individuo alcance una dimensión más subjetiva, pero gratificante.
