Descripció
Sumari:The present study identifies the relationship between the gross domestic product GDP and, some financial indicators of the Ecuadorian private banking. For this purpose, applies analysis factorial of ACP major components and the linear regression model. The results indicate that, in the multiple linear regression model the GDP has a positive relationship with the portfolio of credit and negative with the number of private banks. While the research exposes empirically the existence of a relationship between macroeconomic variables and financial indicators of private banking during the period 2000-2016. Analysis of the relationship between interest rates and financial indicators is proposed as a new line of research.
