Sumari:The role played by mathematics in the study of economic sciences is a subject that has been widely discussed, due to the relationship that it can have both in the exercise of teaching and in the development of the economy from the social point of view. It is clear, however, that Economic Theory cannot be separated from mathematics, since both economic analysis and mathematical reasoning have a common origin in logic. Therefore, this article analyzes the relevance of this science in today's world and the added value it can provide in an economy thought from the social point of view.
