Matrix Boston Consulting Group (BCG) by Economic Sector and Main Provinces of Ecuador

Based on the information published by the INEC and by the Central Bank of Ecuador, in their statistical bulletins, this article proposes the elaboration of three BCG matrices, applicable to the provinces of Pichincha, Guayas and Azuay, always performing an analysis first. of the economic situation of the country that allows understanding the macroeconomic variables by province. Despite the existing differences between provinces, it is possible, however, to generate a strategy for the work plans of the economic sectors of each region, in favor of the development of the local industry.
