A completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications was used to compare the frequency of application of B. amyloliquefaciens versus chemical management. Treatment application of B. amyloliquefaciens every 4 days (A2) maintained an incidence and severity percentage between 0 and 2%, while treatment A1 ranged between 10 and 14%. Regarding the variable vase life, treatment A2 achieved 83% of roses in good condition, while treatment A1 reached 63%. These results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of using biological products. |

Para mantener este ritmo de crecimiento, es importante realizar un control eficiente de patógenos que amenazan la productividad, como es el caso de Botrytis cinerea, que causa una gran pérdida en cultivos de rosa. Por ello, el objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la efectividad de Bacillus amyloliquefaciens en el control de B. cinerea en Rosa sp. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con cuatro tratamientos y tres repeticiones, para comparar la frecuencia de aplicación de B. amyloliquefaciens versus el manejo químico. El tratamiento de aplicación de B. amyloliquefaciens con frecuencia de aplicación cada 4 días (A2) mantuvo un porcentaje de incidencia y severidad entre 0 y 2%, mientras que el tratamiento A1 osciló entre el 10 y 14%. En cuanto a la variable vida en florero el tratamiento A2 obtuvo el 83% de rosas en buen estado, mientras que, el tratamiento A1 alcanzó al 63%. Estos resultados evidenciaron la efectividad del uso de productos biológicos.As exportações de flores no primeiro bimestre de 2022 alcançaram 197 milhões de dólares, o que representou um aumento de 7% em relação ao mesmo período em 2021. Para manter esse ritmo de crescimento, é importante realizar um controle eficiente de patógenos que ameaçam a produtividade, como é o caso de Botrytis cinerea, que causa grande perda em culturas de rosas. Por isso, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar a eficácia de Bacillus amyloliquefaciens no controle de B. cinerea em Rosa sp. Foi utilizado um delineamento inteiramente casualizado com quatro tratamentos e três repetições, para comparar a frequência de aplicação de B. amyloliquefaciens versus o manejo químico. O tratamento de aplicação de B. amyloliquefaciens com frequência de aplicação a cada 4 dias (A2) manteve uma porcentagem de incidência e severidade entre 0 e 2%, enquanto o tratamento A1 oscilou entre 10 e 14%. Quanto à variável vida de vaso, o tratamento A2 obteve 83% de rosas em bom estado, enquanto o tratamento A1 atingiu 63%.
