Effect of several sheets of localized irrigation on the productivity and profitability of peanuts

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of various localized irrigation sheets on the productivity and yield components in the peanut crop (Arachis hypogaea L.), as well as the efficiency of water crop use. The INIAP 382-CARAMELO variety was used, the sowing was carried out in August 2018 with a worked area of 1000 m2. The application of the irrigation sheets was established in four treatments where the treatment (T1) with an irrigation sheet of 100% of the water needed of the crop; (T2) with 125%; (T3) with 75% and (T4) with 50%. The influence of the irrigation sheets in the crop shows significant differences in the variable stomatal conductance in the development stages of the crop. Within the productive variables such as the number of pods·plant-1 , number of grains·plant-1 and yield (kg·ha-1), the influence of the irrigation sheets reported significant differences on these variables; while in the variable biomass of 100 seeds it did not show any difference. Peanut cultivation under the effect of localized irrigation sheets with the application of 75% ET0 showed to be superior economically, productive, and efficient with the use of water.
