description The effect of mycorrhizal strains on the effectiveness of symbiosis and productivity of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) cultivar ‘Cascajal rosado’ was evaluated, two experiments were established from June-December 2016; one in the acclimatization phase in the Faculty of Technical and Agricultural Sciences and the other in the “Mahanain” Farm of the CCS ‘José Santiago Ercilla’, in a grayish brown ochre soil in the northern zone of the municipality of Las Tunas. The treatments used were: control, NPK application and the use of four mycorrhizal strains (Rhizophagus intraradices, Funneliformis mosseae, Glomus cubense and Claroideoglomus claroideum). The following were determined: root length, plant height, number of pods-plant-1, biomass of 100 grains, mycorrhizal and oil percentage and oil acidity index. Agricultural yield was calculated. Data were subjected to analysis of variance and comparison of means. The applications of mycorrhizal strains caused a positive response in peanut yields. The best performing strain in most of the variables studied was R. intraradices followed by G. cubense and F. mosseae. The highest gains and the lowest costs per biomass gain were obtained with the use of R. intraradices.

The highest gains and the lowest costs per biomass gain were obtained with the use of R. intraradices.Resumen Se evaluó el efecto de cepas micorrízicas en la efectividad de la simbiosis y productividad del cultivo de maní (Arachis hypogaea L.) cultivar “Cascajal rosado”, se establecieron dos experimentos de junio-diciembre 2016; uno en la fase de aclimatización, en la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas y Agropecuarias y el otro en la Finca “Mahanain” de la CCS “José Santiago Ercilla”, en un suelo pardo grisáceo ócrico en la zona norte del municipio Las Tunas. Los tratamientos utilizados fueron: testigo, aplicación de NPK y el uso de cuatro cepas de micorrizas (Rhizophagus intraradices, Funneliformis mosseae, Glomus cubense y Claroideoglomus claroideum). Se determinó: longitud de la raíz, altura de la planta, número de vainas·plantas-1, biomasa de 100 granos, porcentaje de micorrización y de aceite e índice de acidez del aceite. Se calculó el rendimiento agrícola. Los datos se sometieron a análisis de varianza y comparación de medias. Las aplicaciones de las cepas de micorrizas provocaron una respuesta positiva de las producciones de maní. La cepa que presentó mejores resultados, en la mayoría de las variables estudiadas fue R. intraradices seguida por G. cubense y F. mosseae. Os tratamentos utilizados foram: controle, aplicação de NPK e o uso de quatro cepas de micorrizas (Rhizophagus intraradices, Funneliformis mosseae, Glomus cubense e Claroideoglomus claroideum). Foram determinados: comprimento da raiz, altura da planta, número de vagens por planta-1, biomassa de 100 grãos, porcentagem de micorrização e de óleo e índice de acidez do óleo. O rendimento agrícola foi calculado. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de variância e comparação de médias. As aplicações das cepas de micorrizas provocaram uma resposta positiva nas produções de amendoim. A cepa que apresentou melhores resultados na maioria das variáveis estudadas foi R. intraradices, seguida por G. cubense e F. mosseae.
