總結:The article addresses the generation of biogas from cattle manure through biodigesters in the community of María Eugenia, Yaguachi, Ecuador. The objective of the study was to implement a clean and sustainable energy alternative for the community, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 7 of the United Nations. The methodology included the construction and commissioning of a 20-liter scale anaerobic biodigester, using bovine manure as raw material. Analyses of pH, temperature and organic matter content were carried out to evaluate the efficiency of the anaerobic digestion process. The results showed that the biodigester was effective in biogas production, with an optimum pH between 7.22 and 7.72 and an average temperature of 25.5°C, conditions suitable for the activity of methanogenic microorganisms. The organic matter present in the cattle manure was sufficient to generate quality biogas, and the humidity was maintained at adequate levels for the process. In conclusion, the use of biodigesters in the María Eugenia community not only provides a renewable and sustainable energy source, but also helps to manage organic waste efficiently, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and contributing to the fight against climate change.
