La hacienda ecuatoriana desde el enfoque historiográfico del “posestructuralismo perspectivista”, siglo XX (Estudios)

This article discusses the main findings of various studies on the Ecuadorian hacienda. It introduces the concepts of “gamonal space” (superstructure of the hacienda institution); “migratory ethnogenesis” (process of origin, change, and continuity in cultural structures); and “customary politics” (of lands and territories that were haciendas and became local, community, family, and individual territories). The three categories form a network of historical patterns that allow us to question, resolve, and generate analytical dilemmas.
