Add Tag | Summary: | This article aims to analyze the diversity of activities of urban cyclists in Tlaxcala around public space and the right to mobility, specifically sustainable urban mobility, to categorize and differentiate them between collective actions, civil society, or social movements, as well as to discuss their degree of impact on the production of an urban space that materializes the exercise of their human right to mobility in the terms protected by the Mexican constitution. To achieve this, in the first instance, a historical and contextual tour is made on the right to mobility, its actualization and sustainable urban modality in Mexico, and its relationship with the right to protest; in the second moment, the theoretical framework is broken down to explain and typify the activities of cyclists, in a third section the context that gives rise to the participation of cyclists and each of the activities they carried out in chronological order is explained. Finally, a table is prepared to synthesize and analyze the actions in light of the theory and discuss their degree of incidence. |
