The works’ theoretical-methodological coordinates that emerged along three contexts of production are analyzed: the study that emerged within the framework of the institutionalization of history under the conservative rule; the contributions produced during the rise of the new Ecuadorian history linked to the scientific paradigms of the post-war period; and the studies aimed at the new political history.
