Omschrijving
Samenvatting:The article focuses on sustainable practices and the use of natural materials in the construction of architectural models by students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Santo Tomás, Bucaramanga. In the design workshops, responsible practices are being implemented to mitigate environmental impact. The choice of biodegradable materials, such as wood and recycled paper, has encouraged their creative use in the architectural design process, highlighting their compositional qualities. Therefore, it is intended to explore from a creative perspective based on Bruce Archer’s method, the results of the use of natural materials in the development of models, as well as the work involved in their elaboration process in three phases; analytical, creative, and executive. These threedimensional models not only present an aesthetic dynamic, but also promote ecological awareness in the academic environment, by integrating the use of ecological materials as a responsible option that contributes to the conservation of the environment.
