Cualquier teoría de la interpretación que decida acercarse a lo fronterizo debe enfrentarse a la diferencia colonial. En el presente trabajo, el autor lidia con el asunto de la interpretación cuando nos enfrentamos a La Frontera. Su hipótesis es que lo fronterizo exige un modo peculiar de acercarse al texto literario.
