El primero trata de determinar qué es y cuándo una práctica puede ser catalogada como una venta atada; en el segundo se abordan los tipos de vinculación, en el que se definen tanto el tying como el bundling para poder distinguirlos y conocer cómo estos se presentan en el mercado; en el tercero se determina cómo influye la conducta tanto en el mercado del producto vinculado como del vinculante; y, finalmente, en el cuarto, las posibles justificaciones a la conducta, en la cual se establecen como las más sobresalientes las justificaciones por causas legales, técnicas, de seguridad o salud pública, y por causas económicas, resumidas en la doctrina como eficiencias en el mercado.
