Then, the pros (guided by the power of the testimony of Recalcati) and contras (referring to a story by Borges about the insertion of an individual in a different culture, and how it transforms it) of the visual narrative are analyzed. Finally, “El capricho de la comunidad” offers the perspective of cinema as a social mobilizer. |

Al inicio se sintetiza la trama del documental y sus características técnicas. La primera parte titulada El Cazador desarrolla la noción de exotismo de Sontag en la descripción de las motivaciones del cineasta; también, sitúa geográficamente al pueblo Huichol -escenario del filme-, enuncia el meollo de la historia y las reflexiones suscitadas. Luego, se analizan los pros (guiado por el poder del testimonio de Recalcati) y contras (aludiendo a un relato de Borges sobre la inserción de un individuo en una cultura distinta, y cómo esta lo transforma) de la narrativa visual.
