Es frente a este escenario que Morin plantea siete saberes clave para el entendimiento humano en la actualidad: enfrentar las cegueras del conocimiento, alimentar los principios de un conocimiento pertinente, enseñar la condición humana, enseñar la identidad terrenal, enfrentar las incertidumbres, enseñar la comprensión y cultivar la ética del género humano.
