Concretamente en relación con la definición de patrimonio cultural inmaterial establecida por la unesco y su clasificación en ámbitos y sub ámbitos, el manuscrito señala los problemas que la aplicación de estos criterios ocasionó durante el inventario, el cual proyectó en sus resultados una imagen fragmentada y dispersa del patrimonio cultural nacional y, como consecuencia, de la cultura, cuya patrimonialización bajo criterios monumentales tiende a solidificarla.
