The objective is to examine transhumanism from a critical and historical perspective in order to identify the bioethical and biopolitical risks of biotechnologies in the neoliberal context. This is a theoretical and critical essay based on an interdisciplinary bibliographic mapping (philosophy, sociology, bioethics, and science and technology studies), and the hermeneutic strategy allows us to confront the postulates of transhumanism with the bioethical and political risks derived from its application in this context. |

El objetivo es examinar el transhumanismo desde una perspectiva crítica e histórica para identificar los riesgos bioéticos y biopolíticos de las biotecnologías en el contexto neoliberal. Se trata de un ensayo teórico y crítico basado en una cartografía bibliográfica interdisciplinaria (filosofía, sociología, bioética y estudios de ciencia y tecnología).
