A pesar de la prohibición hispana para hablar en runa simi y, con ello, hundir en el “olvido” la memoria del mundo sometido, tanto el harawi como los willakuy (relatos) se han sobrepuesto a tal exigencia. En la actualidad, la poesía quechua es un instrumento artístico de suma importancia para representar la realidad.
